Welcome
This
is the entrance to Glastonbury Hermitage
(header image), located at Ellenborough
on the NSW mid-north coast. Through the gate is an avenue
of English Oak trees grown from acorns taken from the MSC Daramalan
College residence garden in Canberra. In 12 years they have
grown twenty foot or more. They connect my story through so many
avenues - family, religion, spiritual hunger, mythology, cosmology
....

May 2012 Glastonbury Hermitage moves to Shoreham, Victoria
Flowing
from a wonderfully open and engaged process of discernment, which
beckoned for a wholehearted living of eremitical life, the MSC
house "The Cliffs", at Shoreham on the Mornington Peninsula
south of Melbourne, will be Glastonbury's new home. For those
who know the beauty and richness of Ellenborough and the proximity
of the hermitage to the river, "The Cliffs" overlooks
Westernport Bay and in the distance Phillip Island. For retreatants
and those seeking spiritual accompaniment there are two self-contained
cottages and two rooms in the main house with stunning views of
the Shoreham Foreshore Reserve and Bay. Most importantly this
sea-change, away from the river and rural setting of Ellenborough,
manifests outwardly the interior movements of a heart given over
to the leadings of God. How blessed we are to have such guidance!
